The lake held at 77 percent of capacity, and water temperatures dropped to 57 degrees. Recent rains brought silt and mud into the lake. Trout anglers used dough baits, minijigs, and Pinched Crawlers to land good sized rainbows left over from the last plant. Most trout anglers targeted the West Ramp, and rainbows up to three pounds were reported throughout the lake as well. The newly planted trout brought out the big swimbait anglers who reported landing some line-sides between 5 and 10 pounds. Other striped bass techniques were less effective. Large and smallmouth anglers used finesse baits in 20 to 40 feet of water for a few fish. Darker colors like green pumpkin, purple, and baby bass have been enticing bites. Catfish went for cut baits on the bottom, and crappie anglers fished deep in the lagoon for some slabs.
