**Ice Update**

Or better titled..."The Dissolution of My Ice Fishing Dreams...Update"

This warm(ish) weather has caused quite the recession in what little ice we had. There is NOT safe ice for ice fishing at South Fork. On the flip-side, there is a good amount of open water available to fish from the Southwest Shores side of the lake.

**Fishing Update**

Suspending a night crawler about 5-6' from a bobber is working pretty well for rod-n-reel, and leech patterns continue to be consistent for fly fishing. Additionally, those braving the slick and muddy conditions and heading below the dam have been rewarded with some sizeable channel catfish lately.
