Hello fellow anglers. I have a special invitation for all that would like to join us. On this Wednesday March 20th I will be at Caples Lake to do some ice fishing with friends. Yes, this is a weekday. But I do have a reason for this particular day. As many of us have seen on television the outdoor adventures of one's state. Nevada has "Nevada Backroads". In California, they have ABC 10 "Bartell's Backroads" show. I was asked to join John Bartell and his crew to do one of their shows on the adventures of ice fishing in Alpine County. I would like to invite any angler that would care to join us at the Caples Lake Resort parking area at 10am. We will be ice fishing and filming in the area in front of the lodge. I have not fished that area for awhile so I would recommend you to bring an extension on your auger, it may be needed. I will have a hand auger to loan for those that do not have an auger. Dress warm, bring your snow shovel, fishing pole and either a bucket or chair and don't forget your sunscreen. I hope to see you on the ice.  Good fishin' and tight lines.
