Rainbow trout activity is reportedly best at sunset and during the early morning hours at Willow Beach. Rooster Tails and spoons are catching trout and stripers alike. Anglers are reeling in catfish on anchovies thrown from the fishing pier at Willow Beach and at Katherine Landing. Cottonwood Basin is a hotspot for black bass. Craws, grubs and worms fished from kayaks or boats are fooling bass ranging from 2 to 4 pounds.
