The aqueduct bite has arrived, and anglers reported catching good numbers of smaller line-sides. Cut baits and live worms did the trick after check gates. Be sure to adjust your weight to the amount of flow. During low flow conditions anglers have been doing well on the flyline. Striped bass also went after Flukes on a jig head, paddle tailed swimbaits, and jerkbaits. The best time to throw lures was at first light. Catfish anglers took advantage of lower flows and scored good numbers of whisker fish on cut anchovies, dip bait, and fresh shrimp. Largemouth took Texas rigs, Carolina rigs, and drop shot Roboworms in areas of lower flow. Weightless Senkos took fish as well.
