The Fall river has been fishing well. It is due to be stocked again between May 13-17 and this will improve the fishing as well. Nymphing remains the best method for all times of day and balanced leeches, jig leeches, anato-mays, red zebra midges, and small red rainbow warriors have been some top flies. BWO’s continue to hatch around midday and with the warmer weather coming up having some caddis and small chubby chernobyl or similar patterns is a good idea to imitate terrestrials. As always stripping small bright buggers is a fun way to fool some fish with the streamer rod. Don’t forget that the river below the Falls is closed for twelve more days and opens up 5/22.
