After 30 years of fishing and guiding there comes a moment where the catching speaks for itself. That moment is now on Shasta Lake. The Trout are gorging themselves on the shad. Not even the full moon this past weekend slowed them down.

These fish are just plain hungry and fiesty. Once hooked up they rip drag pull hard and even jump sometimes. They are also fabulous eating. These Trout have been ranging in size from 2 to 7 pounds.
