Riviera Marina Fishing Report

Colorado River - Laughlin - Laughlin, NV

We have some fresh news from our local angler. He was out on his boat and landed a nice stringer of fish. The biggest catch was a channel catfish weighing 3.74 pounds and measuring 21 and 1/8 inches. The largest largemouth bass weighed 2.18 pounds and was 15 and 1/5 inches. There's no size limit on catfish, but bass must be at least 13 inches long.

Dennis used a white spinner bait for the largemouth bass and anchovies for the channel catfish. He went out in the morning to beat the heat, and that area is known to be great for these types of fish. Up river near the casinos, stripers mostly in the 1 to 3-pound range are being caught. Anglers have had success on the Nevada side near Big Bend State Park, along with other spots like Rotary Park area in the morning to avoid crowds or late evening.

On Lake Mohave, anglers are having luck near the basin, with trolling various lures yielding stripers in the 4 to 8-pound range. Near Davis Dam, anglers on the Nevada side, both from shore and boat, are also doing well.

Hope this information helps for now, and we look forward to seeing you soon to share your catch. Thank you for all the support!
