Fishing has been good for bass and catfish at BV. Anglers reported largemouth holding tight to cover with weightless Senkos, topwater, and weedless offering working to lure them out. Spinnerbaits got some grabs too. Plenty of pan-sized catfish were taken by anglers offering Tripple S Dip Bait, chicken liver, and mackerel. Crappie anglers focused on areas by the islands, and the results were not bad. Crappie took minijigs tipped with crappie nibbles, small live minnows, and small crankbaits.
