As of 08/19/24 South Fork Reservoir remains under a Harmful Algal Bloom (HAB) watch. Please visit this webpage for more information: Vegetation growth remains high with the remaining warmer water temperatures. Fishing for trout is fair to slow, with anglers from boats in deeper water having the most luck. Fishing for bass is good, with most anglers targeting weedy points and coves. Catfish are also active, with anglers having some luck from shore using shrimp.
