Well, that’s a wrap. The regular season is now closed until April 26, 2025. The Nevada side of the EW is still open all year long and as of late has been fishing pretty well, there is lots of action with nymphs and still a little action with streamers as well. The Sceirine section, Rosachi section and the Elbow section are all open. The weather has been decent with cold mornings but moderate daytime temps. This time of the year you don’t need to get out there too early, usually from around 9 or 10am to 3 or so in the afternoon is good. Some patterns to work down there: flashback emerger, zebra midge, pheasant tail, copper John, darth baetis, perdigon, picky eater perdigon, sculpzilla and ziwi.
