The Trinity River has dropped down to 550 cfs and dropping, the water is clear, but lots of steelhead are around. We are seeing good bright new fish move in daily. Most the fish have been from 6 to 7 lbs with some going 10 to 12 lbs. best is side drifting special cured steelhead eggs that these fish can't resist. When the water drops and gets clear we are running really light lines with ultra light rods. It makes for a fun battle when you stick a good one. The fight is on!!
