Ice Update:
Good news! Areas off of Coyote Cove and Jet Ski Beach on the southwest shoreline, as well as some of the coves on the east side are measuring 4-5 inches, and are considered sufficient for foot travel. Pay close attention as there are many pressure ridges around the lake, and ice thins the further you get from shore.
Always do an assessment of current conditions in advance of getting set up, and pay close attention as they may change rapidly. Remember, ice is never 100% safe.
Be safe and enjoy some hard-water fishing finally at South Fork.
