Despite the cold, the Metolius has been fishing well, with nymphing and midday BWO hatches producing solid results. A good mix of Perdigons, Frenchies, Eggs, and Caddis Pupa have been effective, along with 2 Bit Hookers. For those targeting Bull Trout, articulated streamers will be a great bet along with whatever you're fishing for rainbows for.

Things are starting to warm up, with daytime highs climbing above freezing and nights becoming more manageable. This should be producing some great fishing in the coming week or two.
