Large and smallmouth held in the 10-to-30-foot zone, and 4” Roboworms on the drop shot were the best way to boat a few bass. Another good option for cold winter days is nightcrawlers on the drop shot. Vertical spoons fooled all species of bass, but that bite has been a game of patients. Catfish anglers pulled in whisker fish with dip bait and cut baits.
