Lake Mead is replacing old courtesy docks over the next two months to improve visitor experience. The first dock to be replaced will be at Echo Bay. Boaters be advised that there will only be one launch lane open from March 31st to April 6th. On April 7th there will be a temporary closure for removal of the old dock. No boats will be able to launch on the 7th and possibly also on the 8th depending on how smoothly the replacement project goes. If you were planning to launch at Echo Bay on the 7th or 8th you will want to launch at Callville Bay or Hemenway Harbor. More information coming soon on the other dock replacements.
