There was a lot of traffic during the Memorial Day weekend. Fishing was only slow to fair for some anglers, but very good for others. Those who were catching fish did so on worms and PowerBait. The key with trout is to make sure the size of bait you're using is not too big. They generally prefer smaller offerings fished on small hooks. With prepared bait, a treble hook in size 16 or 18 is a good choice. For worms, size 12 is about right. Fish them on a slip rig.
