Water Conditions: Great
Fishing Conditions and Hatches:Great the water is getting colder, and the fish are more active in the middle of the day especially now with the days getting shorter. Stripping streamers working best with a nymph trailer.
Recommended Flies:
Streamers: Doc's Twin Lake Special Black/Olive/Brown #10-12, Olive Matuka, Black and Olive Wooly Buggers #8-10
Nymphs: Callibaetis Nymph #16, Bead Head Prince Nymph #14, Copper John #16
Dries: None
Guides Hint: Dress warm, it gets really cold out there when the sun isn't on you!

Hot Creek: The Recent Rain and Snowmelt has made Hot Creek muddy which has slowed the fishing
San Joaquin River: The Road to the San Joaquin is closed, call the Visitor Center
Crowley Lake: Stripping is working well for Fly Fishermen at Crowley but the fish are moving around
Owens River: Smaller bugs #22-24 working best on the Upper Owens for Fly Fishermen
Owens River: Fly Fishing at the the Owens Gorge is Consistent and Good
Owens River: Fly Fishing the Lower Owens is Challenging at best
Bridgeport Reservoir: The Fish are spread out at Bridgeport Reservoir so move around
