Flowing under 3000 cfs in the Canyon for the past week, conditions have been excellent, with good reports even on windy days.?? By early afternoon, PMD's are showing up to provide matching opportunity daily, now.?? Caddis are also going to continue providing late-afternoon to evening events of varying intensity, day in and day out.?? In between events, big stone nymphs (goldens, summers) and small attractor dropper nymphs (pt's, lightning bugs, copper johns) have yielded results.?? It's also time to be on the look-out for Yellow Sally adults, especially the egg-laden females.?? In flight, these stones look very much like the PMD's, so be sure and get a close-range ID on any pale-yellow #16ish bugs flying around to guide your selection.
