Water Conditions: Great the flows are at 20cfs as of 4/12. With the recent snows, I'd expect the gate to be locked by this weekend, but you never know.
Fishing Conditions and Hatches: Overall rating is Good to Excellent. Fishing was excellent before the weather turned, but it doesn't take long to recover after a few days of snow and wind. We expect it to be pretty good by the end of the weekend. Still the same patterns we've been using for the past several weeks now. Mostly mayflies, with some midges early.
Recommended Flies:
DRIES: CDC Baetis DUN #18-20, Extended Body BWO #18-22, Comparaduns #20-22, CDC Emerger Baetis #20-22, Stalcup Emerger Parachute Midge #22, CDC Emerging Midge 22-24, Real Midge 24 (dry or wet)
NYMPHS: Copper or Black Zebras #20-22, Craven's JuJu Baetis #20-22, Copper Zebra #22, #22 Furimsky's Epoxy Midge, Hogan's S&M Nymph #18-20, Tungsten Psycho #20-22, Black/Olive Flashwing WD-40's, San Juan Worms
STREAMERS: #12 Bead Head Doc's Twin Lake Special Black/Brown/Olive
