Flows are 235CFS. They have been in this range for over a week now and the fishing has been pretty darn good. The flows are a little higher than normal but this helps a smaller stream like the Little Truckee in a bunch of ways. Fish have many more holding lies which spread them out more. Wading is a little tough and not as many anglers are walking where the fish want to be. The fish do not get as spooky from angler pressure. Midges, Baetis and even some Winter Stones have been hatching especially on cloudy non-windy days.

Warm weather over the past week or so has sparked the run-off season. The river spiked at 2500 CFS on the 26th of April and has been dropping steadily since. Pyramid Lake: Fishing has improved at Pyramid Lake, there are more fish in the shallow waters
Truckee River: The fishing and the flows are about as good as you can get on the Truckee
Little Truckee River: The flows on the Little Truckee are good at 160 cfs, both drys and nymphs are good right now
East Walker River (CA): The flows on the East Walker are at 106 cfs and jumping around, small nymphs and midges are working
Frenchman Lake: Fishing has been outstanding at Frenchman's Reservoir
Lake Davis: Reports from Davis Lake indicate braving the cold would be worth it. Those fish are hungry!
Hinkson Slough: Hinkson continues to fish great.
