Bridgeport seems to be fishing better and better each day. There's still some decent trolling action and the bait fishing and fly fishing are both picking up steadily. The Rainbow Point area, Buckeye Bay and right off the marina have all been producing well. We've had lots of fish reported in the 2 to 5 pound range this week and we're also starting to see some nice perch making a showing, some pushing 3 pounds. Fly anglers have been using zebra midges, blood midges and chironomids, bait anglers have been using power bait, crawlers and power eggs. Trollers have been doing the best with fire tiger rapalas, needlefish and thomas bouyants. There's also been a bit of good shore action with bait down near the dam.
