Our Memorial Day SFR Charter aboard the Aloha Spirit out of Channel Islands Sportfishing was outstanding! Our charter enjoyed fantastic weather as we fished among friends, co-workers, and great company. Captain Steward and Special Guest, aka "The Boss" navigated us toward some special fishing grounds where we loaded up on easy limits of shallow-water rockfish. After achieving limits, we went on a quest for exotics. Although we metered several schools of fish, we couldn't get any to cooperate. It was a day to reflect on our country's freedom and remembering those who made the sacrifices necessary to make such a wonderful day possible. A good time was had by all and we're looking forward to our next charter aboard the Aloha Spirit.
Okay, here's a no brainer statement from me: "It's about to go off!" I say it's a no brainer because we're entering Summertime at the Channel Islands and anyone who knows the area, knows it's about to go off! However, I still make this bold statement because of amount of life and good signs I saw out there. The bait situation is quickly improving, the water clarity and temperatures are improving, the schools of White Seabass are being metered and our Captains at Channel Islands Sportfishing are going to put their anglers on the fish! That's what they do best and it's going to happen in big numbers, very soon! Mark my words! Don't get caught behind the computer staring at someone else's fish, call up Channel Islands Sportfishing today at 805-382-1612 and maget in on the action.
That's the word on the water, tight lines!
