The flow in the Little Truckee has decreased from 600cfs on June 1 to 57cfs on June 5. Because of the drastic drop, the fish are a little "shell shocked" but should return to their normal routines in a day or two.

Look for big hatches of bugs in the next two weeks as the insects will get in high gear in these low flows. Baetis, Caddis, Little Yellow Stones, some PMDs and midges will be hatching throughout the day. Now that the flows are way down, using a little stealth and a longer, lighter leader will improve your success significantly.
