Water flow is 13cfs. Time for 6x leaders and small flies. Use a dry/dropper combination. Try a yellow sally on top with a small (size 18-22) pheasant tail nymph or WD-40 as the dropper. Good caddis grab in the afternoon.

Convict Lake is fishing well this week with several 4 lb catches coming and should get even better for the weekend. We're expecting a chance of thunderstorms over the next few days. Water temps are warm, so the fish are gathering in the lower colder depths. Use 4-6 lb. test line and attach a 5-6 foot leader from a fillable bubble and swivel barrel for best results.
