The heat wave continues, but fall weather is in the forecast. That should mean blue wings, october caddis, and streamer fishing. It would be nice to get some rain and move some fish around, but the cool weather will help. It just seems that we haven't had any fall weather yet. The water is a little skinny up along Glenshire, but still pretty perfect down here in Hirschdale and below. East of Reno the water is around 350 cubes, perfect too. Fish are still in summertime type water, but that will change quickly with some cool weather. Look for them to move back into the soft stuff shortly. There's no excuses, now is the time to get up to the Truckee River and get into some fall action.
