Free family fishing clinic at Floyd Lamb Park

The Nevada Department of Wildlife will hold a free family fishing clinic Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Floyd Lamb Park located off of Durango and Highway 95 in the northwest part of the Las Vegas Valley. The clinic is open to anglers and would-be anglers of all ages and will start at 9 a.m.
NDOW volunteers will teach participants the basics of fishing, such as how to choose baits or lures, casting techniques, knot tying skills and more. The event will take place at Tule Pond. A Nevada fishing license is required for those who are 12 years of age or older. Registration for this class will begin Monday, April 1 at 8 a.m. Call 486-5127, ext. 3503.
