Very good currently. Running low for this time of year but still plenty of pocket water and riffle water to make it fun to fish using a dry/dropper bead head combo in the canyon and Pikel Meadows areas. Hard to beat a #14 Stimmy with a crystal tiger midge or crystal olive caddis larva #16-20 as the nymph & dropper.

Eastern Sierra Fishing Report: Eastern Sierra Fish’N Conditions July 14th 2013
Hot Creek: Hot Creek is a very good fishing spot this year because it is a spring fed creek
Owens River: Very strong caddis activity with some smaller mayflies showing in late mornings on the Upper Owens
Crowley Lake: After the algae bloom recedes fly fishing will improve at Crowley Lake
Bridgeport Reservoir: Tough conditions at Bridgeport because of thick weeds
San Joaquin River: Very good fly fishing conditions on the San Joaquin, good water levels
East Walker River (CA): The East Walker has been tough this year, flows are usually in the 70's
East Walker River (CA): West Walker fishing well. It is running low for this time of year but still plenty of pocket water
Owens River: Middle Owens River is a good place to fish these days
: Conditions are very good on most of the drive/hike to upper elevation lakes
