In recent weeks Spinnows have been the lure of choice for many striper anglers, according to Angel at Laker Plaza. This lure has been very productive when jigging in up to 60 feet of water. Those fishing the backs of coves have also had success with largemouth bass. A variety of swimbaits have been effective for these fish. The best fishing is found during the early morning and evening hours.
