Current River Conditions: Fishing has been good for adult steelhead and numbers of 1/2 pounders and juvenile steelhead. Expect good fishing through the month of November, no problem. Egg patterns in orange and shrimp-pink are working. #6-8 Rubber legs, #12 Amber Wing Princes, #12 Red Copper Johns too!

The Fly Shop's?? Tips: October caddis nymphs are a good choice right now. Skating big dries like Paulson's Titanic, Ska-Oppers or Darth Skaters is a very popular method during the days of Autumn when the steelhead are most aggressive and curious.

Fly rods from 6 wt to 7 wt are perfect in lengths of 9' to 9.5'. Switch rods are popular and make casting very easy. Spey rods fit in well on the Klamath river.

Road Conditions: No restrictions at this time. Call 1-800.427.7623 for up to date Northern California Road Conditions.
