Cold as hell. We've barely managed to make it out of the teens for highs all week here on the Truckee River in the great Truckee-Tahoe-Reno area. -20 last night here in Hirschdale. Hasn't been too much warmer in Reno either. Anchor ice has formed along the entire river, and in some places, it's a bit gnarly. Too cold to fish in my opinion. I did make it out at the end of last week before the anchor ice with some guests and we did catch fish, but now we need it to warm for any serious fishing to happen. 16 right now as I'm writing this with a pretty strong wind, burrr.
