The Firehole will treat you right if you are looking for great dry fly fishing. Pale morning duns and caddis are coming off in number, especially on overcast days. Some Baetis can be expected below Midway and Fountain Flats Drive. Morning PMD spinner falls can be epic in the Muleshoe Bend and flats downstream of Midway areas. Our #16 Hi Viz Spinners are just the ticket for successfully fishing spinner falls of PMD's. Late day white miller caddis emergences and egg-laying periods are fun to fish. Our Snowshoe, White Miller X and Fluttering White Millers are deadly patterns as are the #18 White Miller Iris and soft hackle emergers. Some salmon flies remain in the canyon.
