On Sept. 20, Kathy Jo Martinez and her companion caught 30 12- to 15-inch cutthroat trout in three hours using a silver Kastmaster or rainbow Krocodile lure. The largest fish weighed nearly three pounds. On Sept. 20, State Park Manager Jonathan Hunt reported catching plenty of 8- to 14-inch cutthroat trout. He averaged six fish per hour, but noted fishing was sporadic throughout the day. Bank and boat anglers seemed to do well.
