The West is still hanging in there in spite of the low water flows, you'll need to search out the deeper pockets and pools where the fish are hanging out and sneak in on them for success. Fly anglers are using dry/dropper rigs with hoppers or stimulators on top and a soft hackle, copper john or pheasant tail underneath. Bait anglers are using salmon eggs and mini crawlers and lure anglers are going with panther martins, roostertails and mepps spinners. We've had reports of some nice fish up to around 4 pounds along the West.
