Boat ramps are a challenge due to low water conditions. The lake has many hazards with the low water conditions, boaters be careful. Although not large, 6 to 12 inches, the fish were abundant and hungry. Some walleye are still being caught. A few anglers are targeting "boils" near shore for 5 to 10 pound wipers that are feeding on the yellow perch young-of-the-year. Fish with lures, flies or bait slow and close to or on the bottom. All parts of the reservoir are good, although the majority of the action is taking place in the dam side of the reservoir. Night fishing for catfish should start picking up. There is an over abundance of small white catfish.
