Salmon boats go three to four miles out on a 190 to 220 compass bearing. Salmon are shallow in the morning and deeper as the day wears on. Limits were achieved Tuesday before 10 a.m. Salmon are averaging 15 to 20 pounds. Rock cod fishing is good, ling cod fishing is even better. (707) 464-1650
