Fishing has been a little slow on the Pit this week. The rains that fell on Tuesday probably put the fish down due to elevated water conditions. Seems like the best action happens in the early afternoon. Find a run and fish it for a while. Don't just take off after a dozen casts. The fish are there! Just give them a chance to liven up and eventually one will show. Maybe two or more. The Fly Shop (530) 222-3555; www.jacktrout.com, (530) 926-4540
