River conditions are big and muddy. Good conditions can be found in the Ney Springs/Cantara area. Fishing can be good in these variable conditions. Throw Zack's Thermanator Skwala Stones, Mercer's Dark Stone, Rubber Legs in brown or black where the waters are big and fast. Use one or two SSG split shot when fishing the big fast water. Midge patterns and small mayfly nymphs like Pseudo Mays and Micro Mays are good choices up in and around Ney Springs/Cantara. Sometimes, the high water puts fish right next to the bank where they will eat those big stones. #12 Birds Nests are a good fly too.
