EAST FORK SEVIER RIVER IN KINGSTON CANYON: Ice has retreated with recent mild temperatures. The slow-moving runs have less oxygen in winter, so target stretches with fast-moving water in between deep pools. Recent surveys found good numbers of brown and rainbow trout, with some browns exceeding 20 inches and two pounds. Call the Circle Valley Anglers fly shop at 435-577-2168 for up-to-date conditions and fishing reports.
EAST FORK SEVIER RIVER, BLACK CANYON: Black Canyon usually remains ice-free in the winter due to spring inflow.
