Crappie are starting to bite upriver. They also are being caught toward the dam. This spring has produced more crappie than in recent years. Trout bite is good between the north shore marina and south shore marina at the beginning of the Narrows. Quality trout also are being caught near the dam. Some troll. Some anchor with bait.
