On April 28, water levels had risen, creating a lot of excellent habitat for bluegill, bass and crappie along the shoreline of the entire reservoir. With the higher water, there is very little flat shoreline on the west side of the reservoir and the banks are very steep; please use caution when shore fishing on the west side. Water temperatures are around 56°F. Don't forget to obtain your Walk-in Access authorization number and sign in at the box before visiting the reservoir.
