The trout bite is still on. Use the sliding sinker rig and nightcrawlers or Power Bait. Kastmasters or J7 Rapala work for trollers. The Pines has been a good spot for trout the last 2 weeks. Fishing for catfish is best by the boat launch. There are a lot of catfish that seem to be hungry. Many catfish are being caught by trout fishermen. To increase chance of catching a catfish use stinky bait like chicken livers or anchovies. The bite is still on for the bass fishermen. Top spots are the Rock wall, Sather Canyon and near the Main Rec. Throw shad colored spinner baits or drop shot Robo Worms. (510) 223-1661, 925-253-1279
