Ginger Buzzard checked in from Topaz Lodge with an update from the Topaz Trout Derby that continues in April.

Good Afternoon! Fishing has slowed down a little due to the high winds on the Lake. However, it should be really good fishing this week. With water being churned up. It is going to be really nice this week too.

The biggest fish of the week was Steve Nielson at 4 pounds 3 ounces and 22 inches long.
The 2nd biggest was Darek Hicks with a 3 pounds 9 ounces and 20 inches long.

No tagged fish this week but overall we’ve had 615 fish over 2lbs weighed in.

Shore fishing was doing well this week with worms and powerbait. There wasn’t that many boats out there this week due to the weather.
