General Information: Fair to Good. Weather conditions, with lots of snow, has slowed the fishing a little over the past few days, but guides and anglers are still hooking fish. Most of the fish seem to be concentrated in the Lewiston/Douglas City area, although we're starting to see some fresh winter fish moving through the Junction City areas.

Fishing Conditions & Hatches: Flows are at 300 cfs, and the river is VERY crowded. If you like to fish alone, go somewhere else. If you choose to brave the crowds, try to smile. Good luck.

Flies: ?Ģ Red Copper Johns #12-16?Į?Ģ Blue Copper Johns # 12-16 ?Į?Ģ Mercer's GB Biot Poxyback Stonefly #8-12?Į?Ģ Mercer's Poxyback Hare's Ear #10-14?Į?Ģ Schaefer 3-D Nymph; #10-12?Į?Ģ MC Redd Reaper Pink/Orange and Gold Nugget ?Į?Ģ Micro Spawn: Shrimp Pink and Orange

The Fly Shop's Tips: ??Cold weather can make the fish lethargic, especially in the early morning hours; fortunately, it makes the anglers lethargic, too, and the crowds have slowly begun to dissipate on the Trinity. Please travel with either 4-Wheel Drive and traction tires or carry chains for ALL winter travel, especially in mountainous regions like the Trinity.
