GENERAL CONDITIONS
Try fishing towards the end of the pier where the water starts to clear up. The best time to fish has been around the time high tide rolls in.
STRIPED BASS
Stripers have been biting, with most coming in anywhere from 18-33 inches. Midway, up to the end of the pier has been producing the best size catches. Best baits have been Pile worms, Anchovies, Shrimp and Live-lining Jack Smelt. Also plugging from shore is always a good bet with the stripers currently running through the San Pablo Bay.
OTHER SPECIES
Leopard Sharks along with Bat Rays are being caught daily off the pier. The best baits have been squid or cut baits fished on the bottom. Perch have been caught by a couple fisherman fishing up close to the pier pilings on both a high and low tide.
