The trout bite is still going strong with fish in the 3 to 6 lb. range. The same lures are still being hit, firetiger patterns and this week chrome kastmasters and silver needle fish are being hit. Night crawlers with a bobber are still the way to go if you are going to fish bait. The small mouth bass are starting to show now with one fisherman getting 7 legals. A couple of large mouth were caught but thats all. The crappie and the cat fish were the same, just a couple of each and amazingly, one blue gill. So get ready for the bite to bust wide open by next month.

Tidbits: When a great white shark is killed all other white sharks in the vincinity will immediately vacate the premises and not return.
