The water level has dropped but fishing is still good. Bass are being caught throughout the day on spinners, swim baits, plastics and live shiners. Catfish are being caught on the fishing pier and along the NW shoreline. Panfish are moving closer to shore and some large ones are being caught on a variety of live worms.

Murray ReservoirThe water level is back up, the algae bloom is almost gone, and the lake looks great! The Bass are still spawning and anglers are hooking up on crank baits, swim baits, and as always, live shiners are very effective. Murray ReservoirThe water level is low but that just means there are fewer places for the fish to hide. Bass are being caught on shiners, plastics, swim baits and crank baits. Large panfish are coming in to spawn and are being caught from the shore. Catfish are consistenly caught in late afternoon on mackerel, shrimp and even crank baits now and then.
