The water has started to clear up and has reach 78 degrees. The Bluegill are biting on Redworms in San Carlos Bay. One angler caught 6 Bluegill with the biggest being a 2Ib 4 ouncer. The Bass are still biting on plastics and shiners. The Catfish bite is slow but with patience and a little luck they can be found.

The lake temperature is up to a scalding 80 degrees which has made the fish head for cooler water. The Bass have settled into deeper water and Ty Turpin caught 9.5Ib bass fishing Alvarado Bay using a dark colored 6" plastic worm. A few bass have been caught near the tules by the buoy line using crank baits. Some panfish are being caught in the coves using night crawlers. ...... Read More

Water temperature is up to 78 degrees and the bass are responding. A Float Tuber reported 3 bass up to 8 pounds using a purple 6inch Jelly Worm all out of Alvarado Bay. All fish were released.
