The Bass bite was challenging this week with quite a few anglers coming up empty handed. The most success has been early in the morning and late in the afternoon throwing jerk baits and spinner baits. The Bass being caught in mid day are usually caught on drop shots or shiners. The Panfish have been elusive except for the tiny ones. The larger specimens are biting in 10 to 15 feet of water when they can be found. There was only one catfish reported this week with Kevin Allen pulling in an eight pounder from the fishing pier using shrimp.
