Much of the same on Crane with fish slowly moving out of the flats to find more food and cooler temps in the channels. Callibaetis have been spotted but I haven’t heard of a decent hatch coming off quite yet. Damsels are also on the brain and should be showing up soon, we just need some nice warm streaks and the bugs will start popping! Early season up there was crazy this year with tons of people out on any given day, the numbers are dying down and Crane should be back to a relatively normal amount of anglers. Keep fishing leeches and midges under indicators and start trying a little damsel nymph stripped slowly or under an indicator.

Recommended Dries: Parachute Callibaetis #14-16, Hackle Stacker #14-18, Thorax Callibaetis #14-18, Para Cricket #16-14, Damselflies #14, Various Terrestrials.

Recommended Nymphs: Balanced Leech bruised #14-10, Poxyback Callibaetis #16-18, Feather Duster Callibaetis #16-18, Zebra Midge #18-20, Ice Cream Cone red, black, green, #12-18, Two Bit Hooker red, black #16-20, Lightning bug #18-20
